How do I play?
Pick one or more categories on the home screen and tap Let’s go. Sit in a circle, hold a finger on the screen to spin, and answer the question you land on. Then pass the phone to the next person. There are no points and no winners, just conversation.
Does Candid work offline?
Yes. Every question ships inside the app, so the whole game works without an internet connection. Airplane mode, cabins, basements: all fine.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for, no profile, and no login. Open the app and play.
Is Candid suitable for every group?
Candid is made for adults. Some questions get personal or risqué, so the deck is not intended for children. That said, you control the tone by choosing the categories: Icebreakers, Nostalgia, and Would You Rather keep things light, while Spicy and Romantic go further. Leave the bolder categories unselected when you want a tamer round.
Can I suggest a question?
Please do. Email us your question and which category it belongs in, and if it fits the deck we will add it in a future update.
How do I delete my data?
There is nothing to delete. Candid stores no personal data and has no accounts. If you want a clean slate anyway, deleting the app removes everything it ever stored on your device. See the privacy policy for details.
A question or feature is not working. What should I do?
First, make sure you are on the latest version of Candid in the App Store. If the problem persists, email us with your device model, iOS version, and what you were doing when it happened, and we will look into it.
